It was a great trip - good planning and leadership, wonderful teachers (singing and dancing), interesting repertoire, good group, easy atmosphere and amazing food, of course.
The only thing that appears to be problematic not for the first time is information about leaving the camp and the country. Before I booked my ticket, I received the information that said: 'Our last official day will be Sunday, August 17, so your return flights can be on August 18 or later'. This suggests that Sunday we still stay in Signaghi and have the last day with closing and whatever other last activities that are 'official'. But the last day was on Saturday the 16th. Sunday morning we were brought to Tbilisi and let loose. That was not at all clear to me when I booked my return ticket on the 18th, as was suggested. Suddenly I had to book a hotel to stay extra night in Tbilisi, which was not so easy and cheap on a short notice. If I new, I'd fly back Sunday. This is not the first time, when such things happen. I hope that this moment should be clearer in the information - when precisely we travel back from the place of the camp and if a hotel is needed.
But next to this issue everything was excellent. Thank you for your hard work, organization and for this wonderful opportunity!
Amazing. I knew it would fun with Lala involved. I was a bit worried but it was incredible. Such connection. Amazing acceptance and inclusiveness despite vert different peoe and only 6 participants. Being part of lalas family and people was superb. Madagascar is so great and u expectedly variable. I traveled alone to meet the group but felt very safe
I had a wonderful time at Village Harmony, despite several days of intense heat/humidity. The instructors were all fantastic, as were the participants, and the food was great! Next time I am bringing a portable hand-held fan though :)
